Produced entirely at Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown, every stage of production—from traditional floor malting through to maturation and bottling—is carried out on site, preserving the hands-on approach that has defined the distillery for generations.

Unlike previous editions that have incorporated a mix of cask types, the 2025 28th Release has been matured exclusively in bourbon casks, offering a brighter, spirit-led interpretation of Springbank's distinctive character. The bourbon maturation allows notes of vanilla, citrus and sweet malt to complement the distillery's signature maritime influence and gentle peat smoke.
