Speyside (M) 17 Year Old 100 Proof Exceptional Cask Edition No.16 is a limited independent bottling from Signatory Vintage, created as part of the 100 Proof Exceptional Cask series. This collection focuses on carefully selected single casks presented at a traditional high strength, allowing the whisky’s natural character and maturation influence to be fully appreciated.
Distilled in 2005 and matured for 17 years, this expression was aged in a first-fill Oloroso sherry butt, allowing the Speyside spirit to develop rich layers of dried fruit, spice and oak complexity. Bottled in 2023 at 57.1% ABV (100 Proof), the whisky is presented at a robust strength that retains depth, texture and intensity.
