A truly rare and exceptional whisky born from a remarkable east-meets-west collaboration. Oishii Wisukii — Japanese for "Delicious Whisky" — is a 40-year-old blended Scotch of extraordinary age and quality, bottled exclusively for The Highlander Inn, Craigellachie, one of Scotland's most celebrated and beloved whisky bars.
With a high malt content of 80%, predominantly sourced from Diageo stock and featuring a significant proportion of the highly prized Clynelish distillery, this is a blended Scotch that punches firmly in the territory of a premium single malt. Bottled at cask strength of 46.3% ABV after four decades of maturation, the depth and complexity on offer here is extraordinary. Just 378 individually numbered bottles were produced, making this one of the more limited and collectable releases of 2026.
The stunning label artwork adds yet another layer of appeal, designed by Japanese artist Takeshi Abe — the creative talent behind the iconic and internationally acclaimed label designs for Ichiro's Malt's famous Card Series. His distinctive visual style brings a beautiful Japanese aesthetic to this uniquely Scottish dram, making this bottle as striking on the shelf as it is in the glass.
