Mortlach 11 Year Old 2014 100 Proof Edition No.73 is an independent bottling from Signatory Vintage, showcasing the distinctive character of one of Speyside’s most respected distilleries. Known as “The Beast of Dufftown”, Mortlach is renowned for its rich, weighty spirit and traditional complex distillation process, which creates a bold and characterful single malt.
This expression was distilled in 2014 and matured for 11 years in a combination of first-fill Oloroso sherry butts and refill hogsheads before being selected for Signatory Vintage’s 100 Proof series. Bottled at 57.1% ABV, the whisky is presented at a traditional high strength, allowing the full depth of the spirit and cask influence to be appreciated.
