This exceptional Glengoyne 28 Year Old is a rare single cask release, bottled exclusively for the travel retail market. Distilled on 26 October 1995, the whisky spent nearly three decades maturing in a single European oak sherry hogshead (Cask No.2091) before being bottled in 2024 at its natural cask strength of 50.3% ABV.

Glengoyne is renowned for producing unpeated Highland single malt using Scotland’s slowest distillation, allowing the spirit to develop remarkable elegance and complexity. Long maturation in European oak sherry casks enhances the whisky with layers of dried fruit, spice and oak while preserving the distillery’s signature orchard fruit character.

Bottled from a single cask without chill filtration and at natural colour, this exclusive release yielded just 197 individually numbered bottles, making it an exceptionally scarce expression for collectors and enthusiasts alike.

With its extended maturation, single-cask provenance and exclusive availability, this bottling offers a rare opportunity to experience one of Glengoyne’s oldest and most limited modern releases.
