Not only is this 4-year-old single malt the first peated release from GlenAllachie, but also the first ever distillate produced under Billy Walker's ownership of the distillery. Hinting at future endeavours, this expression enjoyed a lengthy fermentation of 160 hours, producing an ester-rich, fruity spirit matured in former Rye and Bourbon barrels alongside virgin oak casks.
Made with mainland peat, this amber-hued spirit offers a distinctively smoky yet sweet flavour profile. The third instalment in the Past, Present, Future series — a celebration of Billy Walker's 50-year career and what lies ahead for GlenAllachie.

Glenallachie
Founded 1967
Since Billy Walker took the helm in 2017, Glenallachie has cut production drastically to focus purely on quality, favouring long fermentation and rich sherry cask maturation. Renowned for its bold, sherried Speyside character.
