GlenAllachie 18 Year Old | 70cl, 46% ABV

The GlenAllachie 18 Year Old sits towards the upper end of the distillery’s core collection, offering a mature interpretation of the rich, honeyed style that has become closely associated with GlenAllachie under Master Distiller Billy Walker.

Following the independent acquisition of the distillery in 2017, Walker and his team introduced GlenAllachie’s first core range in 2018, with the 18 Year Old forming part of that original line-up. The whisky is matured for a minimum of 18 years, with casks monitored throughout maturation and selected when judged to have reached the required character.

Bottled at 46% ABV, this Speyside single malt is presented without added colouring and without chill filtration. Its profile combines the distillery’s characteristic honeyed richness with deeper notes of chocolate, dried fruit, marzipan and dark cherry.

The range received refreshed packaging in 2024, meaning this 2025-bottled example carries GlenAllachie’s contemporary presentation while retaining the established 18 Year Old expression inside.

A mature and full-bodied Speyside whisky, particularly well suited to drinkers who favour richer, sherry-influenced single malts with an emphasis on fruit, confectionery sweetness and oak maturity.
