A celebration of Master Distiller Billy Walker's peerless cask management, the Masters of Wood series unites some of the most spectacular casks in GlenAllachie's inventory. This 17-year-old expression combines maturation with a finish in Mizunara — a rare Japanese oak seldom used in whisky production — alongside Oloroso sherry puncheons, creating a genuinely complex and indulgent single malt unlike anything else in the GlenAllachie range.

Mizunara oak is famous for its scarcity and its distinctive character, often described as bringing incense, sandalwood, and exotic spice notes that are virtually impossible to find elsewhere in Scotch whisky. Combined with rich Oloroso sherry puncheons, this pairing creates a truly unique flavour profile. Bottled at 50% ABV, non-chill filtered and with no colouring added, this is GlenAllachie's cask craftsmanship at its most experimental and rewarding.
