The Royal Salute 21 Year Old Rio de Janeiro Polo Edition is the seventh release in Royal Salute's acclaimed Polo Collection, celebrating the brand's enduring connection with the "sport of kings." This limited edition pays tribute to Rio de Janeiro, where the vibrant culture of Brazil meets one of the world's most passionate polo communities.

Originally created to commemorate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953, Royal Salute has become synonymous with exceptional aged Scotch whisky, with every expression containing whiskies matured for a minimum of 21 years. The Rio de Janeiro Polo Edition continues this tradition, combining beautifully matured Scotch whiskies in a luxurious blend inspired by the energy, elegance and prestige of Brazilian polo.

While the exact cask recipe has not been disclosed, the blend has been matured for at least 21 years in a selection of oak casks, allowing the whisky to develop remarkable smoothness, depth and complexity before being bottled at 40% ABV.
